ABOUT THE PAINTINGS
Like
most artists I know, I went through a number of creative
incarnations on my way to where I am today. But regardless of
whether I was making pottery or floorcloths, or painting on
paper, wood, canvas, masonite, or tile, my goal was always the
same: to make art that connects with people emotionally, and
that tells the story of a journey in color, in imagery, or in
both.
On
this page you will find a representational sample of my
paintings. Because I do 15 to 17 shows a year, I have an
enormous amount of turnover, making it almost impossible to keep
available, unsold paintings showcased on the website. If you saw
something at a show and want to know if it is still available,
simply email or call me and describe the piece to me. If I’m not
sure we are talking about the same piece I can always snap a
digital image of what I have and send it to you for
confirmation. I ship work everywhere and often.
I also
do custom work, in particular pet and
people portraits, which make terrific birthday, wedding,
anniversary,
or holiday gifts. Please see my
commissions
page for more information.
All paintings are framed in simple, non-ornate, flat gold frames
as in the photo to the right unless otherwise specified. |
